Swimming at Awapuni School

Swimming for term 1 has finished.
Many thanks to Pat for her expert tuition.
We have lots of students who can swim 200m
in Team Pango.
We also have 2 great community minded girls
who helped others learn to swim.

Relay For Life 2015

This year a team of staff members and their families 
 walked in the Cancer Society's Relay For Life. 
They kept the baton going for 24 hours. 
They are definitely the "Community Kind"

Team Pango Triathlon

Our annual Triathlon is on Thursday.
Races start at 9.30am.
The races start in Alfred Cox Park near the walkway bridge.
Everyone has been training for the event.
Individuals will run, bike and swim.
Teams will have 3 competitors who will do one leg each.

2015 Student Council

This year's Student Council is a group of 10 students who
show leadership skills and are good role models 
for the rest of the school.
They will work as a team to give service to the school.
Their first meeting will be Monday 16th March
when they have morning tea with the Principal, Mr Langford.
We look forward to seeing their social action projects
in the school this year.
